Yesterday we had another protest in my city, Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil.
The police attacked innocent people who kept yelling "NO VIOLENCE" and "You there, soldiers, you are also explored"... we sat on the ground under the rain and cold in a demonstration of peace, but even so they threw Tear Gas and rubber bullets against people who weren't doing anything wrong. I was there. So people ran in fear, trying not to fall nor to be smashed by a hundred feet... A mass in panic. But the more they pushed us back, more angry we felt.
This videos cannot show the real chaos that was yesterday, only a small part of it. Those footages are from manifestants, 'cause the media won't show what really happened.
There's no turning back. We won't stop now.

Hello! Stopping by to let you know COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN! Edit: COMMISSIONS ARE ALREADY CLOSED! And I'm still very, very disgusted by DA's new layout. The site is just so buggy and confusing... If this wasn't my main/base online gallery for 15+ yrs now I'd just LEAVE, honest to God. The journal section and the sta.sh writer is a disaster. Things look ugly and people are really having trouble in finding what they're looking for; for example, my price sheet. It used to be very easy to spot it in my front page, now it's almost invisible and people keep asking where they can find my commission info. I'm not discouraging you to ask, that's not your fault, it's all DeviantArt's new shitty layout fault. Commissions CLOSED - July and WTF, DA?
Hello guys, it's been a long time since I last opened up right? I told you that this could take longer because of well, all of what went down in the beggining of the year - we all had to adapt ourselves in that new scenario and some people just take it differently. For me at first was very hard, but then things slowly (veeery slowly) started to fall in place. And what really helped me was really to be able to explore and paint more 'non commission related' stuff. I felt like I've gained a little more exp with my paintings and that was really relieving for me, trully. As I work through my very last commissions, I'll be as for now, organizing a new commission list. Hopefully won't take me the same amount of time - even bc I don't want this list to be so extensive as the previous one. That said, I really feel the need to rant about this GOD DAMN NEW DEVIANTART LAYOUT. C'MON MAN, JUST WTF IS THIS??? It's all confusing and ugly and so damn BIG. There, I just said it, I hated it. -__-"

I'm writting this journal to give an update on my commissions status. I got some trouble with the commissions re-opening and with a few paypal transactions too, so everything got a little bit confusing, and I apologize for that. I've been a little off lately because of all of what's happening with the C-virus outbreak here. I guess all commissions are paid and settled now and I shall update the full list over this week. I'll be probably working on this month's list it for the whole next month or more - 'cause the list got a little bigger than I expected, so as always, be patient!

Police brutality is well known for all of us - teachers, black people, poor people, workers, etc- who are always fighting against injustice in this country. Last week I was chased, hurt and almost arrested. I'm still trying to figure it out what the fuck just happened. I have friends who are hurt really bad and other one who was arrested. I saw a civil war here in Rio and a brutal violence that I'll never forget. I saw police officers abusing their power and almost sexually assaulting girls and women they arrested. There were those two girls who were running from the bombs and the shots.( YES, because they were shooting rubber bullets). They caught the girls, threw them on the filthy street and started to take of their clothes, while they screamed : "Take of their clothes!They might have bombs!"
The officers threw bombs on unarmed civil people. They threw a bomb in a fucking HOSPITAL with sick and hurt people in there!For god's sake...
It's a civil war, not a pacific protest like the midia loves to say. Last thursday, they send a troop only used to exterminated and kill drug dealers/and the good people who live on the favelas. Yes, because we are living in a country who couldn't give a damn about the one who are not rich. So they pretend that they don't know that the poor ones that living on poor neighborhoods are being killed.
This special troop that I was talking about is the same that trains armies all over the world and special forces like SWAT. They are called BOPE.
I mean...really?I don't have word to describe what really happened. But it was horror.
